VOTE DELAYED ON CLASS ACTION BILL
An aggressive grassroots effort by Ohio Chamber members and other business groups helped stop a committee vote this week on HB 427, the class action bill that would significantly raise costs for Ohio employers. 
AUTO MANUFACTURERS AND DEALERS COMPROMISE
After six months of hard bargaining, auto manufacturers and dealers this week agreed on legislation regulating numerous aspects of their business relationship.

 | | The Ohio General Assembly is winding up its work in advance of a summer recess. Both House and Senate voting sessions are scheduled for the week of May 31 along with a much lighter committee schedule. Voting sessions are also scheduled, if needed, for June 8 and 9. Once the summer recess begins, the Ohio Chamber will publish a recap of this year’s legislative activities in our Legislative Wrap Up.
