The staff and members of the Ohio Chamber of Commerce join Ohioans across our state in mourning the untimely death of Chief Justice Thomas Moyer. Chief Justice Moyer led Ohio’s highest court since first being elected in 1987, and was a model jurist throughout his tenure. The Chamber extends its condolences to Chief Justice Moyer’s family and fondly remembers his service to the citizens of Ohio. OHIO CHAMBER PAC ANNOUNCES PRIMARY ENDORSEMENTS As the 2010 election takes shape, job creation is agenda item one, two and three for every candidate across the state. INTENTIONAL TORT STATUTE FINALLY UPHELD “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again” has been the motto for the General Assembly for the last twenty plus years as it has attempted to pass a constitutional workers’ compensation intentional tort law.
