HOUSE FRANTIC AHEAD OF SUNDAY HEALTH CARE VOTE

This week saw a flurry of activity as the leaders of the U.S. House of Representatives continue to scramble for the 216 votes necessary to pass the massive health care reform package. 

 

CITIZENS UNITED  DECISION DRAWS MORE ATTENTION

This week, Sen. Jon Husted introduced SB 240, a bill that requires corporations and unions making independent political expenditures to disclose the source of funding for such expenditures. 

 

MODERNIZATION OF TELECOMMM REGS MOVES FORWARD

The Ohio House unanimously passed a bill this week that will modernize the way Ohio regulates incumbent telephone companies.
