Rep. Peter Ujvagi will be leaving the Ohio House to become Lucas County administrator. This week, the Board of Lucas County Commissioners unanimously voted to hire him for the position. He is expected to begin the new position by March 1.

Rep. Ujvagi is term-limited and prohibited from seeking re-election to the House. Sen. Teresa Fedor had already announced she would seek election to the House seat in November. It is not yet known whether she will be appointed to the position when Rep. Ujvagi officially resigns.
