CONFERENCE COMMITTEE NEXT FOR THIRD FRONTIER

This week, the Senate passed its version of HJR 12, the proposed constitutional amendment to continue the Third Frontier program beyond 2012.

SENATE PASSES MORATORIUM ON REDUCTIONS TO GROUP-RATING DISCOUNTS

By a 20-11 vote, the Senate this week passed legislation that would impose a two-year moratorium on reductions in premium discounts for the popular workers’ compensation group-rating program.

GOVERNOR PROCLAIMS, "I BELIEVE IN OHIO"

In an economy continuing to bleed jobs, Gov. Ted Strickland delivered a “State of the State” address this week that underscored a recurring affirmation: “I believe in Ohio.”
