BUDGET SOLUTION STILL IN LIMBO

No discernible progress was made this week toward filling the $851 million state budget shortfall for FY 2010-11. 

 

THIRD FRONTIER RENEWAL UNDER REVIEW

A proposed $1 billion, five-year renewal of Ohio’s ultra-successful Third Frontier technology investment program is being reviewed by a House committee.

 

SMALL BUSINESS TALKS HEALTH CARE IN D.C.

This week small business leaders from across the country converged in Washington D.C. to participate in a health care fly-in.

 

HOUSE PASSES COSTLY INSURANCE MANDATES

This week, the Ohio House passed two new costly health insurance mandates.  The bills will require insurance coverage for autism treatments and diabetes supplies and equipment.
