SENATE STILL MULLING BUDGET SHORTFALL OPTIONS

Despite a scheduled committee vote next week on HB 318, Gov. Strickland’s plan to close an $851 million state budget shortfall, majority Senate Republicans are still considering other revenue saving options.

 

U.S. SENATE NOW CONSIDERS HEALTH CARE REFORM

Despite the hundreds of Ohio Chamber members who contacted their member of Congress and urged defeat of the health care reform bill, the U.S. House of Representatives narrowly approved the “Affordable Health Care for America Act."
