HOUSE PASSES CHAMBER-BACKED REGULATORY REFORM BILL

The Ohio House this week voted unanimously to approve HB 230, a bill to make state agency regulations more business friendly. 

SENATE DELIBERATES TAX CUT FREEZE

Last week, the House acted swiftly to pass HB 318, legislation delaying for two years the last 4.2 percent of a 21 percent personal income tax (PIT) reduction originally enacted in the 2005 tax reform package.

 

OHIO COULD BE MAGNET FOR CLASS ACTION LAWSUITS

A bill pending in the Ohio Senate could make Ohio a powerful magnet for class action lawsuits with detrimental consequences for Ohio citizens and the corporations that call our state home.
