 | | EDUCATION LEADERS OUTLINE FUNDING PLANS
Despite a reduction in the amount of federal stimulus money coming to Ohio, Governor Ted Strickland said its effect on Ohio’s budget will be manageable. The governor also indicated that his priorities in both primary & secondary and higher education can still be fully funded. 
TOP LEGISLATIVE PRIORITIES ANNOUNCED
This week Senate Republicans and House Democrats announced their top legislative priorities. They will be reflected in the earliest bills introduced in the general assembly. 
STIMULUS DOLLARS AVAILABLE FOR LOCAL PROJECTS
Ohioans are about to receive a large infusion of federal dollars. While the final details of the federal stimulus package continue to be unveiled, one thing is certain - Ohio will have an opportunity to utilize millions of dollars in federal money for local projects.
