NIAR/WSU researchers to present at Wichita SAE conference

Several researchers from Wichita State University and WSU’s National Institute for Aviation Research will present at the SAE Wichita Aviation Technology Conference and Exhibition August 19-21.


 

 

The conference and exhibition will take place at Wichita’s Century II Convention Center.

 

NIAR presenters include Dr. John Tomblin, NIAR executive director; Yeow Ng, associate director of National Center for Advanced Materials Performance; Waruna Seneviratne, senior research engineer in the Composites Laboratory; Dr. Dwight Burford, Advanced Joining & Processing Lab director; Jeremy Brown, research engineer in the Advanced Joining & Processing Lab; Josh Merry, T.J. Lam and Pedro Gimenez Britos, graduate research assistants in the Advanced Joining & Processing Lab; Melinda Laubach, senior research engineer in the Aging Aircraft Lab.

 

Other WSU presenters include Dr. Hamid Lankarani, mechanical engineering professor, Dr. Kamran Rokhsaz, aerospace engineering professor, Dr. Sureshraju Keshavanarayana, aerospace engineering assistant professor and Amber L. Culpepper and Maria Olinda Rodas, graduate students in human factors.
