The annual Open House for Wichita State's National Institute for Aviation Research and the College of Engineering is tomorrow, April 13 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
NIAR and Wallace Hall will be open to the public and student projects will be on display throughout the two buildings. Students will be available to discuss their projects with visitors.
Many of NIAR's labs will also be open to the public including: Advanced Joining, Composites, Crash Dynamics, Structures, Virtual Reality, CAD/CAM, the Research Machine Shop and the Walter H. Beech Wind Tunnel. NIAR engineers and student employees will be available to give overviews and answer questions about the laboratories.
