The North Carolina Chamber, with support from pro-jobs policymakers and an organized business community, delivered substantial legislative results this year that will sharpen North Carolina’s competitive edge in the intense, ongoing state-to-state economic development race.  Our Chamber thanks the Governor and leaders in the majority and minority parties of both the state House and Senate for acting on opportunities identified by our members and supported by extensive data analysis.  These changes will improve North Carolina’s business climate and the overall quality of life in our state.

This list is certainly not comprehensive as our Chamber was honored to work with and have the support of a broad-range of pro-business lawmakers and coalitions.  In particular, our Chamber thanks the House Democratic and Republican business caucuses for their support and for providing a forum for the business community to discuss policy priorities with pro-business legislators.

Our Chamber’s legislative wins during this year’s session were achieved with the support of broad coalitions of members and allied business organizations.   These coalitions formed a powerful advocacy network that served to maximize our collective success at the capital this year.  Together, we are shaping North Carolina’s future to ensure a strong economy, exceptional quality of life and prosperity for all North Carolinians.  A united business community is an unstoppable force!
