New Brand & Logo

The effort to polish Leadership Florida's existing brand and revamp the logo has been a large undertaking, spanning nearly two years.  The work began at the request of former Chair Jeff Bartel, and has just been concluded with the oversight of our 2007-2008 Chair, Teala Milton.  Thanks for our updated look and refined narrative of all that Leadership Florida stands for is due to the 100 members of our organization who participated in the "Story Day," multiple focus groups, and annual meeting presentation.  A very special thanks goes to Bob Allen (XV), CEO of Integrity Arts & Technology in Orlando and his colleague, Brad Nix, who designed and guided the process, and to Barbara Allan (X), president and CEO of SRA Research Group in Jupiter, who extended her professional services to moderate and analyze the focus group portion of the project's research phase.

Next Steps (Fall of 2008)
Communication Chair Barbara Koenig (XV), senior vice president of New Broad Street Companies in Orlando, will lead a team dedicated to integrating the new brand into our website creating a site focused on the social networking aspect of Leadership Florida.  Allowing for increased communication between regions and individual members, the website will include a more user-friendly interface for members to connect online - including being able to personalize your password and login.

New Brand Charter

Values (Our Bedrock)
Our core strength is diversity—of opinion, age, gender, geography, skills, interests, experience, ethnicity, occupation, and political affiliation. We are unified in our respect for and accessibility to one another, and in our passion for Florida.
Vision (Our Aspirational “To Be” Statement)
As a strong, trusting and growing community of Florida leaders, we are an important catalyst for creating new opportunities for our state through our powerful connection with one another and the extended reach of the organization.
Mission (How We Will Achieve the Vision)
We continually discover and convene committed individuals, enhancing and recharging their leadership skills by introducing them to a powerful community through whom they find knowledge and inspiration. We engage Floridians by providing essential information and a substantive forum for their opinions, and create opportunities for meaningful, shared experiences that are inviting, inspiring and of lasting value.
Essence (How Our Membership Feels about Leadership Florida)
Leadership Florida is something we live. Powerful relationships of support, advocacy, friendship and influence, rooted in the class experience, expand over time through involvement in the organization’s circles of affinity and outreach.
Positioning (What We and Others Say About Leadership Florida)
We are Leadership Florida—a statewide community of leaders actively engaged in understanding and serving Florida.
