Smart Start:
Starting & Growing YPGs!

Smart Start for Young Professionals Organizations (YPO) offers a clean and clear model for understanding and practicing good organizational development. Smart Start is especially useful for those YPO’s who are seeking to make a real difference in their community and want to maximize the greatest YP and community benefit through their existence.

2007 Global Impact Survey

The YP Global Impact Survey, is a 40-question survey that takes your city's and YPO's pulse, measures your members' community impact and combines it with the world's 20-40 year olds.

  • Does your community have what it takes to attract and engage the next generation?
  • How do you stack up in the seven indexes that matter to young professionals?
  • How do you compare to your competition? (Which is every other city in the world!)

Next Generation Consulting surveyed over 20,000 young professionals since 1998 and developed a unique handprinting solution around the seven indexes that helps a community see itself as the next generation sees it. Once you understand how young talent perceives your community, you can make the enhancements required to engage and keep them.
