It's a good thing I love a challenge! Actually, I have a nagging suspicion that this overzealous trait will serve me well in my new role as Leadership Florida's Membership and Special Projects Manager. Having experienced a trial by fire of sorts at both the Annual Meeting and last week's Team Retreat in Palm Coast, I remain thrilled about this opportunity to work alongside my team of regional comrades to make a difference and kick our statewide activities into high gear. As the rest of this year unfolds, so will our visibility and influence as events are launched across the state that will connect the disconnected and ignite that unbridled passion that makes Leadership Florida so special.
As your staff liaison and in-house troubleshooter for regional revitalization and special projects, such as our upcoming Presidential Debates and Sunshine State Survey, I urge you to bend my ear regularly and exploit my direct line for the feedback, information and resources you might need at the state level.
I am definitely here to serve and just plain lucky to be working with such an enthusiastic mix of great leaders who have challenged me to be a part of their team!

 | | At this exciting time in our organization's history, I am so proud to be serving as your Chair! The 25th Anniversary Celebration and Annual Meeting many of us were fortunate to experience was indeed a pinnacle for our organization.

The Board of Directors and Council of Advisors just completed an intensive weekend retreat at the beautiful Ginn Hammock Beach Resort, to plan for the future. And wouldn't you know it, the best is truly yet to come.
This year, we will:
• welcome Class XXVI members to the Leadership Florida family,
• see the exciting results of a year long branding effort, thanks to Bob Allen (XV) and his i.d.e.a.s. team,
• put Leadership Florida in front of the nation through our Presidential Debate partnership televised nationally on NBC,
• enjoy thoughtfully planned regional activities,
• watch our Connect Florida program engage the next generation of Florida leaders,
• celebrate our devotion to a "Lifetime of Leadership" at the Annual meeting June 26-29th at the Westin Diplomat in Hollywood. Be involved, make it happen, be engaged for life. We can truly build a statewide network of practicing leaders committed to Florida.
