Currently 129 alumni have chosen this membership option, where Lifetime Members make a pledge of $6,000 to the Leadership Florida Alumni Endowment Fund and when the entire gift is completed, the donor is no longer responsible for paying annual dues. Over the long term - and most of our members intend on being involved in Leadership Florida for the long haul - this is a great deal!
The entire gift is tax-deductible and strengthens the health of Leadership Florida, allowing it the sound financial footing it needs to continue to fulfill its mission and serve its members. Pledges can be paid all at once (there is a 10% discount for gifts paid in one lump sum) or extended over a period of time up to five years.

For more information on becoming a Lifetime Member contact Chris Lucas at (850) 521-1235.

John Moran's Journal of Light: A Photographer's Search for the Soul of Florida
Join us Saturday, June 30th at 9:00am for Leadership Florida's 25th Anniversary as we learn from John Moran.
Traveling the Sunshine State with his cameras, John Moran seeks his vision of natural Florida as it must have appeared to Ponce de Leon and other early strangers in paradise. Moran's work celebrates the magic of a unique landscape born of water and blessed with beauty beyond measure.
|
| This portion of the 25th Anniversary Annual Meeting is Sponsored By: | |
Moran's remarkable Journal of Light speaking programs, based on his book and touring museum exhibit of the same title, highlight a 20-year odyssey to discover the soul of one of the world's great places, and feature his striking photographs of the alligators, beaches, birds, rivers, springs, palms, turtles and flowers that make Florida the amazing place we call home. Moran's ever-evolving speaking programs have been called "exquisite," "powerful," "lyrical," and "like nothing I have ever seen."
Moran has been named Photographer of the Year for the Southeastern U.S. by the National Press Photographers Association. His photographs have been published in numerous books and magazines including National Geographic, Life, Time, Newsweek, Smithsonian, The New York Times Magazine and on the cover of the National Audubon Society Field Guide to Florida.
|
 In the Beginning |
Moran was the State of Florida's official nature photographer in 2006, creating a calendar on state lands for the Governor's office and the Department of Environmental Protection. Other book projects are in the works, including a Suwannee River rafting adventure from the Okefenokee Swamp to the Gulf of Mexico, and a statewide photo book titled "John Moran's Florida: One State, Many Worlds."
Says Gary Mormino of the Florida Studies Program at the University of South Florida, ""If Florida had a Photographer Laureate, John Moran should hold that title." Learn more at www.JohnMoranPhoto.com.
