Economic Summit and Annual Meeting July 28-29 • Louisville Marriott Downtown |
MSNBC and CNN campaign correspondents to debate presidential election

Political pundits Donna Brazile and Tucker Carlson will be the featured keynotes of the Kentucky Chamber's Annual Meeting at 5 p.m., Tuesday, July 29, offering a lively discussion of the 2008 presidential election.
Brazile is a weekly contributor and political commentator on CNN’s Inside Politics and American Morning. For more than 30 years, she has been both a behind-the-scenes player and an on-air voice for the Democratic Party. She serves as chair of the Democratic National Committee’s Voting Rights Institute and is founder and managing director of Brazile and Associates. In 2000, she lead the Gore-Lieberman campaign – the first African-American to lead a major presidential campaign.
Carlson is now a senior campaign correspondent for MSNBC. Since October 2000, he has taken the role of the “conservative voice” on numerous cable television news outlets. From The Spin Room, to Crossfire, to Tucker, Carlson has been weighing in, with a conservative edge, on issues ranging from the Florida Recount to the War in Iraq. His first book, Politicians, Partisans and Parasites: My Adventures in Cable News, was published in the fall of 2003.
